CYC has been a blessing to my acting career. The company taught me both talent and discipline, which are both vital parts of theatre. The company eats a lot of time, but the end result is absolutely worth it. The shows (and cast parties, and load ins, and rehearsals, and tech days) are a blast and I learned more from one show with Shaun Evans than I did in years of acting classes.
My son Owen auditioned for Cats today. It was our first experience with CCA. Sherrill instantly put us at ease. Love her! We arrived with a horrible conflict as we are leaving for a two week vacation and she was so very kind and still hopeful for Owen. My son came out of the audition glowing and said that he had a blast. Wonderful outfit. We will definitely return regardless if he gets offered a role this time.
